I'm a Solution Architect and Engineering Manager based in Cairo, with 20+ years delivering enterprise software, ERP and cloud solutions across the UK, US, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Most of my career has been spent at the seam where business requirements meet running systems — leading teams of 25+ engineers, standing up Azure environments and CI/CD at scale, and occasionally walking into an engagement that's already in trouble and walking it back out. One of those, the HRSD account, went from a formal customer warning to documented positive feedback on a stack I'd never touched before.

Along the way I've had a hand in systems a lot of people have actually used: Tazkarti, Egypt's national Fan ID and ticketing portal; the national COVID-19 Vaccine Platform for the Ministry of Health, delivered under emergency timelines; and My Vodafone Spain, the self-service app serving millions of subscribers.

These days I architect Odoo ERP implementations at Nozom Techs and spend a lot of time on something newer: wiring AI into real business operations. MCP plugins, Claude-powered agentic workflows, n8n automations — the goal being systems that hold up in production rather than ones that demo well.
